you guys are like little babies who take absolutely no accountability for your country. At least I can take accountability for my countries faults.

Thanks for changing the topic, as if skilled jobs are falling from heaven like manna. So suck it up for authoritative carbon taxation schemes (which would require that I get off-grid to avoid) from commie organizations like the IPCC? No thanks, I'll leave that to you.

I thought Localizer's post was very shameful. You shouldn't attack a mans living. Especially on a hippie peace loving site like MS.

Local you should apologize for that one.

Side Note - China is more capitalist than North America. North America has turned into a fascist state.
There's nothing out there huh? The medical sector is one of the most stable sectors in the US, providing much needed job security. Also, you can check out yahoofinance as there are always articles about sectors with job growth.

Guarantee in the next couple days, there'll be another article, and another.

lol i just noticed that the article says march 2nd. awethome.

If you stop reading conspiracy theories online and acting like you've been overcome by some socialist/communist monster, you might have time to look online at financial sites and see that there are opportunities abound. Instead, we get to hear the same old song and dance. I think you're a cool dude, don't necessarily agree with your views, but if you're going to act like capitalism is the shit, then you better be the player that it wants working within its system.

                      Re: Oil Going to $200

Thanks but....you're the one that started down the personal path. This is the last time I'll ever divulge personal information on here that can be used as ammo against me. I already work in a medical field of sorts...guess what, it's seen outsourcing (India namely) like something fierce for the last decade, so wages are down. This was my second career path, FYI, and I'm still paying off the loan for the first...so please don't dish out unsolicited career advice from your high horse. I shouldn't need to buy a new mode of transportation every year because we don't have a sound energy policy.

And Commiecare is putting hospitals at risk, too: http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/...re_501081.html (no apologies if that's too "conspiracy" for you)

Unless you want to forgive all prior college loans from medical professionals so that they can work for free (or, more realistically, at greatly reduced salaries), you might reconsider just how lucrative a career in the medical field will be in a few years if this monstrosity continues to wreak havoc.

I'd rather fix the bullshit related to docs going out of biz because of malpractice lawsuits, I'm sure these problems which existed long before commiecare are part of the problem so you can't blame it soley on this new program imo. I'm in IT and half of my damn co workers are Indian and are here working, or I deal with guys overseas day and night, so I know about outsourcing, they've gotten rid of 3 people on my team in the last year and they are replaced by guys overseas. You also sound lucky and have an education and a degree in a good field, there are still jobs out there if you are smart and in a decent field. America trying to cover everyone via healthcare is not going to cause the country to collapse and everyone under the sun to suddenly wake up without any jobs.

There's always money to be made in Commercial Real Estate Investment Brokering, if you are up for the challenge I would highly recommend that field. Once you get good at it, the sky really is the limit. Bitching and complaining and wondering "what if" won't get you shit btw. And RM who give's a shit if someone lives in an apartment or not? I live in a house by choice, but God knows there are plenty of SUPER nice apartments out there ffs stop trolling.

It was fun while it lasted...

Bailed actually (on the degree front, comp sci.) but intend to return and get more than the associates degree eventually. I am able to telecommute so that's a plus, but since I'm a contractor and have seen lost wages, I am not in the best position economically. I will have to fork out over a grand to meet the obligations of the healthcare deform (I had no hospital or doctor visits in 2010). I should be able to act independently of my own volition and not have to meet an unaffordable mandate and suffer the consequences (whatever consequences I face from not being insured are mine and mine alone) of doing so. Geithner himself said the proposed 2012 budget is unsustainable, and it includes the sucking up of public funds to meet the demands of the new law...using the term unsustainable does not a pretty picture paint.

I understand about that, I was a contractor for 1.5 years w/o any health insurance it was shit. I never went to the doc, and never have to go now, but you have to have health insurance for sure. It is a big worry if you don't, and I'm healthy too and dont need any perscriptions etc at all.

Its great those idiots say the budget is not viable, yet they are not ever going to reform anything with any beef (medicare, defense spending, etc) and just do a few 100 million here and there and say its at least something.
