Is the US planning to invade Libya? There seems to be a lot of war drums banging right now. Could the peaceful President be planning another war?

I'm not sure if they will invade with ground forces but I'm sure air strikes will happen at some point in the near future. They will probably call it a "Liberation from the Air." Some good clean war propaganda.

Fucking Stupid Canada is already there by the sounds of it.

From what I understand Libya's oil goes to Europe. So shouldn't this be Europe's problem? Why does North America ALWAYS have to fight Europe's wars for them?



According to this chart Italy, France, Spain and China should be the ones going in.

I made me laugh last week, David Cameron had to apologise for being slow to act on getting ex pats out of Libya. Anyone who choose's to go and live in Libya should take responsibility for their own actions.

Defense Secy Gates said a military intervention is unlikely. I'd say that is probably true with the current mood of the US citizens on the current bullshit wars we are in.

The scumbags are talking about a 'no fly zone', to enforce such a thing requires warplanes at the ready and direct attack on Libya.
