    James Zabiela

Just wanna give a massive shout out to James Zabiela for an amazing show in Vienna last night. After a week in which we've seen Agoria and Robag Whurme, with Carl Craig still to come on Saturday, James absolutely stole the show. Troklo and I had a great time, I'll put up some pics and vids later so you can all get an idea of how great it was.

James first mix, the first track you hear is from a warm up DJ who was banging it out bigtime

yeah, he's excellent live. Saw him at DEMF one year and he packed a ton of energy in the place... people love it when he breaks out the CDJ scratching over the breaks!

Awesome .. I actually prefer it when JZ is more downtempo with less bells & whistles.

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

Is he still playing the drum and bass mix of claude von stroke aundy??? was playing it a lot last year, sounds wicked when he drops it in.
Wicked dj and really nice guy, never looks like he's not enjoying himself behind the decks.

me too, in this set the "warm up" was playing techno. James came on, played a few banging tunes then slowly brought it down and in the middle of his set he played a 4-5 minute tune with no beats in at all. Then he took it all the way back up again to the end. Really great DJing
