New camera

Shit...I just hope the one I'm buying will be a bit good at that, too...just don't have the money buy one of those nikons or canons, though I wish I could after seeing your pics mate: there's some awesome shiz between them!

Oh well..guess I can't complain, buying a ?500,- camera for ?378,-...:wink:

Thanks... although in the end: remember that its not the camera that makes the shot - there's a person taking the shots and if you have some sort of artistic sense, and im sure that you do... you can take wicked shots too.

some of the shots on my blog are taken with the canon g5, a normal pont and shoot.

sharpness when enlarging the pic maybe...I'm not really educated on this stuff, but I think it has to do with sheer size and quality of the image...

There is a huge diff b/w 3 and 5mps. It really comes down to what you want to do. if you want to take shots and post them on your web site, then go for the 3mp and save money. if you want to occasionally print them out, go for the 5mp.

Then I've made the right choice by going for a 5,4 mp camera...could've taken a 6,3, but less zoom options. Need the zoom so much for detail pics and landscapes...

Not really. I'm a journalist with a hobby.
And yes: it's expensive but it's worthwile, every cent.
Canon is the best brand for cameras, in my experience.

i was looking at that camera and from the researcht that i gathered, a lot of people have been returning them due to flashes not working properly. I just purchased a Canon Power Shot model SD300. It is awesome. If you have a Best Buy around where you live you can get a digital camera with no interest for 12 months. Only until Saturday February 19th. Good Lu ck!!!!!
