Re: No more vinyl after 2009

After 5 years of being in college.. I have learned a very fundamental principal that cannot be stopped...

      Supply and Demand my friends...

if vinyl is shutdown on a mainstream level, then it will go to the black market.

"....hey you got the stuff... i gots the money.. you got the stuff...

nah man.. i couldnt find the good shit..instead of your Nick Warren GU 56.. I got you some shwag.. Tiesto & Oakenfold sing the blues.." sorry bro...
      shit :?

        Good point!
Indeed, America couldn't care less about the Kyoto-treaty or the environment whatsoever.
I guess while other countries are trying to save the world,
americans will be driving their 5+ litre V8 and spinning vinyl.
        Hooray for the rednecks !
Trying to save the world? I didn't realize that the Netherlands was such a dominant force in world environmental protection. Unless, by "saving the world" you mean providing a comfortable environment for the trade of prostitution and drugs.
Okay..this looks like my joke has gone totally bad. Cut the crap dudes, I made a joke, and Skat jokingly responed. Skip the rest.

Supaz...I still need to figure out that needle part!

talking about needles beeing used on records cut out of metal

I don't think vinyl is ever going to die because it's a medium used in so many different industries. But if it does, I'll make sure all my records are clean and tidy and 50 years down the road i'll sell them on ebay for like 1 million dollars a piece.

A joke? Yes, but even if it did come true,as someone pointed out supply and demand and market forces would prevail. If you want it you got it,if you got the money.
