    DN-S1000 Compact CD/MP3 Player

Anyone had the opportunity to get to check one of these new babys out? They are pretty sweet for their money. And probably the cheapest of all the cd decks with a pitch bend function which is the coolest for us dj's. As now we don't have to nudge the platter and wreck a good mix. You can do it with this pitch bend function.

I'm starting to wonder myself if maybe I should get two of these instead of the CMX-3000 from pioneer. Though I do believe that IS the best cd player on the market today. And it might even be cheaper than buying two of these little things.

You can segue from one track to another and it will be in perfect time with the next track, no matter what the difference in BPM speed is.

I'd like to hear some other peoples thoughts on this little dude.

doesnt look bad... from my experience with denon products (the dual cd player, mixers... havent used them much, but we have them at work) they usually go to shit with use and abuse

most lower end cdj's have a pitch bend for the purpose that their jogwheel isn't as precise as it should be, nor is it as precise as the higher end models of cdj's. If you've used a jogwheel on a 1000 or 800, you'll notice that, after playing with it for a few min, it manipulates an actual vinyl jog very well.

whats the price on this one?
i heard from a mate of mine the Numark CDX is very nice. with the full size vinyl spinning platter, and as much torque as a 1200 if not more.

There about 400 bucks a piece. Iam also thinking about picking some of this up. I really need some new decks. But I am still kinda scared yet to buy them. Did get to use one at the store but how reliable are these. I have heard good things and bad things about denon cd decks. I guess it is a matter of opinion I guess.

i'd rather have these than a cdj-1000 or any of those models. the only pioneer i've got my eyes on is the CMX-3000 which is the dual bay rackmount cd player. That thing is the tits!

I just bought a cdj-800 and it is money! the jog wheel is so good that you cant even tell when your touching up your mix. spend the extra cash for quality products when buying dj equipment, unless you are just getting started.

Have you used these asdf_admin or know someone that used these. What were the problems with them. Why did you not like them. What is the quality of the player. Sorry for asking some many question but I was looking at purchasing some of these. But if they suck I will buy something else instead.

i'd say just pay the bit extra and get the cdj 800 if you cant afford the 1000's/
they seem to be the industry standard, pioneer that is, and just like the 1200's, everyone tries to compete, but no one ever really came close to matching the 1200
