Temple Pier
Temple Tube, Victoria Embankment
£20 - http://www.plasticfondu.co.uk/
After winning best Sub Promotion at Ministry of Sound for the last 3 years and other nights at venues like Cherryjam in Notting Hill, we decided to test the water out on the Thames with our first ever Plastic Fondu boat party in March. With a brand new boat in operation called The Golden Sunrise, the atmosphere is even more intimate and special than before, and this is why we are so excited about using this boat for the PF parties this year.
For our April party we have a very special guest in TOOLROOM RECORDS very own Mark Storie. Mark is a name to watch out for, making regular trips across the U.K and Abroad, his energetic and enthusiastic DJ sets are rapidly becoming known within the club scene. On the production front his first solo release "Class A" (Toolroom Trax) has received multiple plays on Radio 1, most notably 5 consecutive weeks on Eddie Halliwell's show.
After the success of "Class A" Toolroom asked if he would remix the forthcoming release "Couldn't Love You More" by A-list heavy weights (Pete Tong, Paul Harris, Jay P) under the guise of the Factory. This was also aired several times on Radio 1. His Electro/Tech/Minimal House sets are packed with sinister drumbeats, perfect bridges between tracks and when needed an uncanny ability to layer bass for extra punch. Because of this, he will provide the perfect recipe for a quality night of music.
