There are so many things I don't understand in peoples view of the world...you are anti government yet you support a federal army??
I don't have a reason to "recurl" at the word "patriot" but I believe it to be a anachronistic term just like a nation state is...or is becoming depending where you stand. Why would i believe in my state or my government? They have never acted in the interest of the little guy...since the original city states up to today. We are all better off thinking in terms of people as defined by their actions than their nationality, skin colour or the behaviour of their governments. In fact patriots today, in my opinion, are blatant idiots. However their motives may be honourable...people who believe it their duty to die for a country that does nothing but exploit them and yet they believe themselves to have a cause...idiots. Now someone will bring in that famous Kennedy quote "Don't ask what your country can do for you..." but did Kennedy or anyone in his remote family fight in any of the US wars...did they have to watch their kids go hungry or sick...so much for "patriots".
Now all you psychopaths who jack off to live war footage from Libya will "recurl" reading the text above and find it an assault on your belief system...but who is to blame...we are all just trying to view the world objectively and until we separate ourselves from our roots, our frame of mind and upbringing...we cannot do so.

In spite of their alleged exploitation, wealthy countries without well-girded defenses are of little use to its citizenry because they are unable to be protected from enemies foreign and domestic. Libya is a conflict that has nothing to do with US defenses and thus public opinion is not in favor of the actions being undertaken there (I am not getting into Iraq, where there was misleading intelligence being used as gospel truth). I understand your reservations with nationalism and patriotism (because of its tendency to create a war hawk mindset), but the alternative world where common borders, language and culture are deemed unnecessary and we can come together in total harmony is pure fantasy.

I think its unlikely there would be any inside job secret docs about 9/11. There should be some nice photos though and I doubt there will be a plane or a missile on them. if I did something illegal I wouldn't keep documentation on it. Showing people something to validate the story, that would be a great help.
