Made Event presents the UK’s biggest DJs Above & Beyond for the New York stop of their ‘Group Therapy World Tour’ at Best Buy Theater on Saturday, April 23rd, 2011.
Above & Beyond’s highly anticipated second artist album Group Therapy will be out in June 2011 on Ultra Music, with the lead single “Sun & Moon” already climbing the charts. The video for “Sun & Moon” was recently unveiled and already been named one of the ‘Best Videos of the Week’ by Stereogum, with over 1 million views across two main channels. Helmed by Indonesian director Ferry Gouw, the video features bittersweet lyrics combined with the uplifting electronic melodies that Above & Beyond are famous for. Embodying romance, escapism and real life emotion, the video is a cleverly styled twist on the classic break-up narrative and offers a sense of release every bit as emphatic as the song itself.
The DJ/production trio Above & Beyond brings their euphoric dance music to enthusiastic audiences all over the world, with sold out shows, instant classics, and their beloved Trance Around the World radio show with over 30 million listeners each week. The group has racked up countless accolades including Essential Mix of the Year, a New Year’s performance to over 1 million people, as well as prolific production and remix work for artists both mainstream (most famously Madonna’s “What It Feels Like For A Girl”) and underground.
