The leader of the free world may be coming to Williamsburg for some rest and relaxation if Congress is able to come to agreement on the budget. President Obama and the First Family are planning to visit the area this weekend in what the White House described Wednesday as a "long-planned family trip to Colonial Williamsburg."

But the trip might get grounded if a government shutdown can't be averted by Republicans and Democrats in Congress.

On Thursday morning, the Federal Aviation Administration established a no-fly zone over Williamsburg that will be in place from Friday through Monday. Jessica Wharton, spokeswoman for the Newport News-Williamsburg International Airport, said the no-fly zone will not affect the arrival and departure times at the airport for this weekend.

Hope, change, in the middle of a budget crisis.

A fourth White House meeting in 48 hours between President Barack Obama and congressional leaders failed to reach agreement Thursday night on a spending plan for the rest of the current fiscal year, increasing chances for a partial government shutdown to begin just over 24 hours later.

How many meetings have you had in the last 48 hours to resolve this issue? Quit being 100% blatantly biased again and placing the blame again on one single (black, foreign) man. It isn't he who is the cause for all of your strife. I mean your internet posturing. It is Congress.

Democrats said Republicans were hung up on abortion and other issues related to women's health. Republicans insisted the size of spending reductions were still the main cause of the dispute.

Let's remember who was in charge of both Houses and the Admin back in September when they evaded their fiduciary responsibilities.

Finally, down with taxpayer-funded abortions (I would perhaps make an exception in the event of rape/clear endangerment to the life of the mother, but not convenience abortions for inept, irresponsible cumbuckets and their gigolo boyfriends)...and to hell with Planned Parenthood, an organization created with the the intent to cull the black population (don't take my word for it, look up Margaret Sanger, its founder).
