    north korea today

i hope we dont do a damn thing. seriously, im at the point where we either have to accept kim is a villain and let them have thier nukes, or have the entire UN do something. no more whining about the nuclear issue, either elt them be, or have everyone do something about it.

this is fucked up and scary.

its not that. its the fact that this nut is obviously willing to use them once he has the smallest reason to. no one will forcefully diarm him, but nothing else works. he has refused diplomacy. so we have to live with it until the guy dies or is overthrown. if we choke them out with trade embargos and banning all import/exports on the world stage, i am even more scared he will start an offensive becasue of that. this guy is a lit fuse getting scarily close to the primer

We're in a real pickle with North Korea. The rest of the world is just so woefully impotent when it comes to dealing with these big issues. It's depressing.

How can China and Japan just sit by and defer to us on this? It's in their backyard! Wake up and get some cojones. Take care of your turf, and we'll cover the rest of the world, 'cause we all know Europe won't do shit.

But please, China. If you want to be a world power, step up to the plate and smack that bitch down.

But we're in South Korea, so that is the main problem. Tough to recommend us leaving, but with us there, it gives Japan and China an excuse to let us take care of business.

I know this has been discussed ad naseum for months and months now, but I really wish we had addressed this problem a couple years back when we were looking at going in to Iraq.

Giving the administration the full benefit of the doubt, we THOUGHT Iraq had nukes. On the other hand, we pretty much KNEW North Korea had nukes (although today marks the first official acknowledgement by NK of this) and had displayed a willingness to use them or sell them to the highest bidder . We chose to go after Iraq. Now we find ourselves where we are. First things first, George, that's all I'm saying.

Is it any wonder that the rest of the world is looking to the US to handle this? We've already demonstrated a willingness to disarm countries with nuclear capability and that we have an itchy trigger finger to boot. With US/World relations as they are right now, who would join us anyway?

No matter what North Korea says about who their enemy is, South Korea and Japan face a much greater risk than we do if those nukes are operational. Even if they want to hurt us, they'll do it by bombing those two. So, it doesn't matter what they think. They should get off their arses and get to work themselves instead of waiting for us to clean it up.,

right now japan has the most concern of a nuclear attack. i think the most important problem as already stated is what the Eu is goign to do in responce. economic sanctions already havent worked. dispite the denial of agreening to deplomatic decussion. i think N Korea with the proper internatinal pressure will have to subit to peace talk of some sort.

Even if the do have missles that can reach the West Cost who cares.

We got missles that can land people on the moon, and more missles
that can launch to mars and beyond. :P

I'm heading to a shooting range to get some training in. We may need it.

I actually heard we're going to Prague to disarm them. They have it coming, too. Everyone knows there are WMDs in Prague. Just like Iraq...
