Listened to cd one so far, and i know it's a cliche, but this is a real journey.

Took me a while to finish it, as i had to replay track 5 'Jesse somfay & henry saiz- Honey wine' about 5 times, amazing tune
...hold on, make that 6 times....

^^^^ Good one!! And amazing for JB Mine was probably a lot more of a hassle because it was a gift voucher.

@ chuckc, I will definitely put up a review when I get it. Quite a few people have got it already and it has had some rave reviews from pretty hard nosed people. Hope my expectations aren't too high .

So far I'm digging CD 1, need to listen to it a few more times. Only 5 tracks in on CD 2 and so far I'm not too impressed, I don't really dig on those "frilly" rifts. I shouldn't make any assumptions though, I need to listen to the rest of it. I'm sure this release is a grower.

Frustrating it is, I need to listen to both discs again. The little rifts that seem to sit on top of some of the tracks just aren't sounds that I want to hear.

I have listened to the whole thing a few times now.

CD1 is a non-entity for me. Nothing on there that I liked too much, or would be in a hurry to return to.

CD2 is better, but the first 3 tracks are again nothing for me. Especially track 1, which I really dont like - and its over 8 minutes long! After track 3 things get better up until 11, where it tails off again. Tracks 14 and 15 are then really good.

Overall - a disappointment for me. 5 out of 10

wow. very glad i waited to hear some reviews before purchasing. i def wont be buying this one as i tend to be rather picky with sets. highly doubt it would please me if its not pleasing most on ms.
