I thoguht the whole thing was brilliant. So much different then anything else that has ever been released as a comp.... & btw chimpmunk track doesnt bother me one bit.

Agree with all the people that says this is a grower... After a couple of listens don't like Cd2 that much (though not bad at all) but Cd1 is a great piece of work imo..

It's like this guy held out his arms and asked all the sounds to come to him and he would make music, and he made incredible music.

possibly in my case, it is impossible to read a better review than that .. here or anywhere

.. especially in this case of henry saiz .. knowing where his mind can go when the issue is to create music

like here in this proyect, where henry several times told to us I'm going to Lanzarote island

.. just to simply continue doing what ..the best review possible up there .. says!







listening to the first 15 minutes since an hour ago ..
and makes me remember how 15 years ago, it was possible to appear in other worlds
just finding flutes .. . . and then we were still seeing the others from afar

tried this mix again today. Cant get into it all. That chipmunk track on the first cd must be the worst piece of music on a balance cd thus far

Couldn't agree more, I have to flip past tracks 6 and 7. They kill the vibe. Sounds like Alvin, Simon, and Theodore are having a three way on ecstasy.

That is little Mountain and when I read the people referring to it it that way, I thought "this can't be good!! " But when I heard it I loved it. Love the way the vocals come together with musical instruments ! Interestingly it is in the mini promo and it does sound bad. Unless you hear it in top quality it doesn't work.

The second track or whatever it is at 7 mins on CD 1 is AMAZING. That sums up the fresh and musical experience to me.

...I've heard CD1 more than 10 times now.. I love Honey wine into Little Mountains, Lady Mirror, and Eterno Retorno.. but, there is something missing. I keep trying to find what it is, and that prevents me from enjoying the whole mix. I think it might that the build up to Lady Mirror is too slow and it can't keep me interested.. i was thinking it might be the slower BPM in general, but then I really liked Cattaneo's Parralel, so that can't be it. I keep comparing it to Balance 18..i know they are very different and I shouldn't, but can't help it CD2 from Nick's is just brilliant.. Its somehow.. more precise..it has more "bang" which I really like. There is nothing on Saiz's CD1 that can make me move like what Nick does for pretty much 80% of his CD2..

It is all personal preference... while listening last night, I thought that the difference reminded me of going to a Digweed show (Balance 1 and then going to a Sharam show (Balance 19).. while I would have fun at the second party and I will enjoy myself, it won't have a lasting effect.. while Digweed.. well it blows your mind and you want to go back for some more the next day!

Just finished a proppa listen on the home stereo. and my gosh!. i cant beleive barely anyone is hyping cd2. it blew me away much more so than cd1.... for some reason cd1 sounded better the first time on headphones at work. at home wasnt totally into it.

but cd2 is just on another level.

second listen is just as good if not better then the first. cd2=masterpiece!!
