I´m very proud to bring you guys this mix I did last month for a special series of mixes celebrating the 10th anniversary of a great local party promoting agency, Elements. Most of the honor comes from the fact that I was one of only 10 national DJ´s invited for this series, and I got the opportunity to share this invitation with some well-established local DJ´s! It really means a lot to me, to be amongst them.
Anyway, we were all given just one hour for the mix, it´s kind of hard for me nowadays to do just a one hour mix, as I feel the type of stuff I play has grown more and more complex, but it was a great challenge and since Elements, to me, represents a very special part of the past, present and future of the local scene, and has always meant open-mindedness and a willingness to take risks, I decided to mix stuff from the past, present and future of true techno music!
What you get here is a collection of a few of my current favorite tracks, mixed with some tracks going back to the nineties and ranging from hard and banging, to more minimal and loopy, and also some stuff that´s a bit more abstract and atmospheric. I think it came out pretty good and diverse. Enjoy!
