I have to say that I was a big trance fan around 2000. Some lovely tunes out of my collection that took me into space when I was a little teenager ^^:

one of the better trance compilations from recent years.i was really impressed, because its quite trancey but not cheesy at all imo.

i have said it 1000 of times before, but PvDs politics of dancing is one of the best progressive-trance mixes out there. 10 years old now, but still sounds fresh. it still gets regular plays

Re: when trance wasn't so bad

Last few weeks, I have put all my burnt mp3 on DVD, CD and Bluray back to the computer and I found tons of Trance from PvD, Tiesto, John OO Flemming and other Trance DJs from 1995-1999. I gave a few of them a go but couldn't listen longer to any of them lol. Even the ones where I thought should still be good like PvD's Vorsprung Dyk Technik didn't work. Guess it's really History by now. No hate though from my side, good times and good memories. Just no longer a kick for me.

^^^ Yeah the eurotrance isn't something I can listen to anymore. The American trance djs however were churning out some good stuff at the time and I can still listen to it now. Flipped through PvD's Vorsprung Dyk Technik last night too and while it does bring back some great memories, I wouldn't be caught dead jammin' it out in the car
