I've been waiting for something as good as that original Robert Miles cd I heard in 1998 Oakenfold is the only dj that really did Trance any true justice I think.
... but then again, I see trance as a genre that sometimes is just fun, after a long night, or long weekend, or in my case during editing... when I sit in front of a computer tediously editing photos from my shoots I need something dreamy and uplifting to help take the edge off.. which is a reminder that all genres have their useful settings beyond the club environment. so making blanket statements like "trance hasn't had but 5 good tracks since 2000" although there is some parts of truth to the meaning of that statement, it's also not that simple, some people may very well like today's trance, and that's fine, right?

Sure it's fine., I know that many people hear trance in these days, but that does not make
to the Trance a better kind of music, a lot of people hears EDM and electroshit, so ?
Im talking about the quality not of the Trance per se.
It's a pretty hard work to find something good, fresh and interesting in these days.
You can find certain points in common like bpms, a lot of melodie, vocales, etc.
but nothing else, the quality it gone, it gone 15 years ago.
