Just got beaten by a Ferrari.

Was just on my way home when I saw a Ferrari in my rear mirror. It looked so fuckin' huge in the mirror. I urgent myself to go aside and let him pass. Then a few 100mtrs further we had to stop for a red light. When the light turned green he touched the gaspedal and had some overdrive. It was awesome to see.
But times like that I wished I had a supercar so I could compete with the Ferrari. A car that doesn't look like it's that fast but that would give the Ferrari a cold.
Such a car like the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR FQ400. It's faster then a Ferrari or a Lambo. It's even faster then a Pagani Zonda or a Porsche Carrera GT. And you "only" pay ?47,000 ($85,000) for it.

We can't buy that variation in the states, besides, once you get to $85,000 whats another $20,000 for the Ferrari?

Personally, I'd just buy the Lancer in its American trim for $32,000 and spend another $10-15,000 on it. New Turbo, intercooler, all new exhaust and intake piping, all new fuel system, electronics to keep it under wraps, cams, valves, springs, the works. And I'd have spent maybe $45,000 and have more car then I could probably handle.

yeah the Fq-400 is an amazing car but all the others u mentioned have alot more midrange torque and speed which would flatten the evo..

around the track the cars setup is perfect but on the road its very stiff..
The fq-400 really is a great advancement but its no zonda or ferrari..

^^ No man, seriously... they suck. A friend of mine had one of these 2 years back. It has only 231Bhp. I wasn't impressed by it, AT ALL!
I have a normal Clio. 1400 16V with only 100Bhp. I never buy a Renault again. Worthless imo.

The new Z06 coming next year will have 500 bhp and blows away the Viper and most of the other cars on this thread. The numbers are supposed to be 0-60 in 3.4, which will edge out the FQ-400 as well. It also has one of the best power/weight ratio's in the world, only bested by the ferrari enzo and a couple others. Thanks to an all alluminum, and carbon composite body. But it will cost around $75,000-$85,000 as well. Still, I'd rather buy the 400 hp Z06 from last year for $50,000 if I had the money and wanted a 2 seater sports car.

BTW, sightless I'm curious on your house too man. Let us know, and how old are you? I just bought me a house too, $200,000 and I was lucky to get approved for that, I'm 24 years old BTW. First thing I did was get it appraised, came out as $226,000 and I just bought the damn thing. Also, since the next thing I did was finish the basement and add another bedroom, it should be worth close to $240, maybe $250,000 now.
