anyone tried the CS:S bots yet???

I spent about an hour with them and they are pretty sweet. They play pretty realistically...at times. Other times they just stand there and let you shoot them in the head.

I've found they work in teams really well. One time I was playing Italy and all my guys (other bots) were dead. I turned around and they were all waiting at the top of the steps right buy the bulding the hostages are in. Right as I turned around they blasted me.

The funniest thing of all is every once in awhile when you issue a command like "Stick together" or "Cover me," one of them will say "Uhhh, negative." Had me laughing my ass off everytime it happened. Overall pretty damn cool. Although I wouldn't suggest setting the difficulty any higher than normal. A couple times it was nothing but headshot after headshot.

i laugh everytime i hop on a server with them....they are realistic....and they do crack me up with their silly willy commands.

My steam will not update I let it run for like 10 minutes yesterday the whole time saying 26seconds left..... fucking steam

I've been playin with 'em on the Central Florida server. That most recent steam update was terrible, took almost 45mins. You just have to let it go, the remaining time isn't ever accurate.

YES!!!! I've been asking if anyone used x-fire on here for like a year. I started a thread one time asking if anyone used it and got 0 responses.

Problem is...now I've never used it. I always heard it was good. I'll try it out cause nothing can be worse than that "friends" fiasco.
