I avoid the community room to dodge stupid conversations about what peoples kids are doing and stupid sh1t they saw on TV that i didn't. I keep to myself, stay in my office and listen to music and chat with my friends through e-mail. and i either eat at my desk or go out on my own....

I think I work with same kind of people. They probably think I am weird. But I look at it this way I don't have to listen to there dumbass conversations about shit I could care less about. Most of the people I work with are annoying. I guess that is the problem with working in a big corpation.

I know what you mean, during the day I am a field engineer for a cable company, and I feel like a fish out of water, especially after coming back from South Beach last week.
Though I do work with a good friend who is also in the music industry, he is a hip hop dj, and runs www.tampahiphop.com , real underground hip hop, not this r n b crap they claim to be hip hop now a days. So it is nice to have some one around me that feels my pain, and to laugh at the people in our office that think they are so funny with their gay stories and little office jokes, lol.
on the plus side, being a field engineer, i get to leave the office whenever i need to, and the area i am in charge of includes the gulf beaches.

i like the people at my job, i have my cousin here working PT, so i have someone to bullshit with in a normal way, not being afraid to \crack a foul humor joke or anything. the other partners are all a littel bti older (35+) so i spend a lot of time in the other rooms with the younger ppl.
