What a night, got to spirit at about 1:30 Danny was playing some funky chunky house. Walked around for a while to soak in the vibe and with PVD attracting all the undesirbles to croakbar, this was best crowd in new york since ARC closed. At around 5:30 AM Danny gets on the mic and says " I Feel like getting nasty" After that it was on he played some of the most evil shit I have ever heard. Just wait till his new track Dibiza is Finished!!! Its going to be the bomb of the summer and his biggest track since elements....stayed until 10 am and left the club and whent straight to work...Needless to say work sucked.....

I mean, there?s nothing wrong with playing old tracks, but damn...some of those are so hugely overplayed, how hasn?t he become bored of playing them by now?
yeah i would kill do to go to a clubnight that played just a handful of those tunes during the night. classic sh*t is always the goods to hear in a set at some point.
"just when i think i'm out, they...pull me back in"

Sure, it was a very long set, but even so...
i guess you've never been to one of Danny's parties. granted the tracks are a tad bit old but for some reason danny pulls it off. i don't get it either because if i saw that set from any other dj i would feel bamboozeled but not from danny.

I forgot to mention that it was the 1 year anniversary of Vinyl/Arc closing, so he was playing a lot of classics...also he played from 11 pm until 12:30 pm so you hafta throw in some classic tunes or else people get bored...

go check him out live and you'll see what i mean
Maybe you?re right. I?ve actually seen him live 2 times here in Portugal, but never one of these famous long sets, that?s probably why I don?t recall him doing this.
And I have total respect for the man, he did a lot for the dance music scene here in Portugal, we wouldn?t be where we are without him, that Paul Jays track is an example of that.
