So I went to see NIN last night in Philly. I must say that the show was really fuckin good. One of the best shows that I have seen in awhile and I have been going to shows since ?86. The sound was incredible it was crisp and not too loud. NIN went on around 9pm and they were done at 10:35 no encore. I loved the fact that it was a very intimate setting as oppose to an arena. I had seen on the web that they have been rotating 4 different setlists around and last night was definitely a fragile night. Since Reznor is known for being a perfectionists he wigged out twice once during Reptile when he had NO guitar sound he then decided to launched his guitar from the front of the stage all the way to the back, and directly into the lighting rig. Oddly enough he only broke the "upper half" of one of those vertical light bars. Then again during Head Like A Hole his mic went out during the second verse crowd sang it instead when he got a new mic he said ?Something about to get fucking broken? Shit was being tossed everywhere. If you get a chance to see them on this leg of the tour I highly suggest it you won?t be disappointed

Looks like a good show. I want to go seem them on this tour. I know they are supposed to do a full scale tour in fall so I am thinking I will catch them then. Can't wait. Glad to see NIN is back.
You Bastard! I tried getting tix for nyc but they sold out quick.
I have seen them a good number of times and trent and the rest never fail to impress...they really give a great performance.

Tell me about quick, my friends and I tried to get tickets for the Atlanta show. We had someone staked out at a computer at 8AM to buy them online as soon as they went on sale...8:01 they were gone!!! Guess I'll be waiting until the arena tour later this year.
I was signed up to there email list and the did a pre-sale...guess thats why tickets went quick.
on another note its funny cause i have happend to be at a show in '89 and again in '91 where they were playing and i didnt even watch or pay attention to them.... Its just so happens that i got into them the past few years and i am glad i did.......

Here's a funny NIN memory...I remember seeing them at Woodstock 1994 and while they were on and I was...mmm...just a little bit out of mind shall we say  ...I was riding the crowd and all of a sudden who's there right next to me, but Trent riding along while singing. I'll be damned if I could remember the tune though!
oh and I'm damn sure it happened, my friends told me as well (some of em were sober), so no hallucination on my part
