did you see the hurricane that hit halifax (in canada) in like 1996? the thing stayed on the water all the way up the coast, then veered west and slammed into the canadian coast...

i think generator sales hit an all time high last hurricane season. i know my mom and her neighbors went and bought two right after Charley hit last year. there was stories of people driving from FL to Home Depots in Georgia to get generators.
hope this season takes it a tad easier than last, but i wont hold my breath.
