There is so many breathtaking artists out there, the one that fashinated me most when I went to art school was Hieronymus Bosch! The way he depicted the relationship between heaven and hell is for me mindbogling. Also how he in the 15th century could come up with these images of the most horryfying monsters and creatures with bodyparts missing or naked women having sex with the devil etc etc... crazy! (no wonder priests back then loved his work and used it to scare people to obey them...)
I'm a big fan of Hieronymous Bosch's "Garden of Earthly Delights," it's a triptych depicting Heaven, Purgatory, and Hell. I also *love* Dali, and Van Gogh. I'm a big fan of most art, however the more modern stuff (like Pollack) is boring to me. I do enjoy modern sculpture though.
