So why don't you tell us what the fuck a spooky is?Originally posted by sakio podhttp://www.myspace.com/mjdubmusic
You can't have manslaughter without laughter.
"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."Comment

Yes, we have a spooky where I work. She's probably the mosty timid person I've ever met I don't know how she got comfortable enough to marry someone. Well anyway, she kind of acts like "Beeker" from the muppets. You talk to her she just squeels. If you go out for a smoke break she'll head around the corner real quick to avoid everyone and every once in awhile she'll peer around the corner. I act like I don't notice her then I'll make that quick turn to look at her and she ducks back making that squeeling sound. Very very weird.Comment

I work at a retail grocery company in Mexico... 96% of the people working there ARE REAAAAALLLY SPOOKY.
They do give me the creeps.
Its like they all came out under the darkest rocks in the alley...

Re:: do you work with any spookies
Sometimes I need our IT support hotline at work so I have to call underpayed and outsourced young students which are trying to fix the problems but making them most of the time worse.
On this hotline is one guy which cracks me up all the time. He's from India and speaks with a very strong accent. This guy knows NOTHING about PC's and i so easily amused. Whatever you say - he laughs. :o Friendly but kinda strange if you are having a problem which prevents you from doing your work and you know you have to stay today three hours longer because of this and the guy on the other end of the line who should help you is laughing all the time.
Sometimes I just hang up the phone when I hear his voice and call later hoping somebody else will pick up the phone.

You decide....
I work (and study) in the physics department at the University of Leipzig. I'm surrounded by German physicists and (worse) grad students. These people scare the shit outta me.

I work in an IT department in and undisclosed university... (SHU)
These people are completer fucking loonies. One day one of the system programmers came out and started whistling the theme to lost in space...
Shit is fucking insane, one time the dude couldn't bear to be in the hallway (so anti social) he tried to run into a security room (id only) and he dropped his id while running but his momentum made him head dive as he picked it up and wham right into the door, almost set off the halon system...The sailors of the United States Navy are among the most disciplined, devoted, and well-trained fighting men the world has ever known. They drink gasoline and piss fire, The spit bullets and shit bombs, and will swim across the ocean with a knife in their teeth just for the chance to carve up those that threaten their homeland.Comment
