Eiffel Tower: in the Paris if $ isn't an issue. Great Prix Fix, service is outstanding and the food is some of the best EVA!

Mon Ami Gabi in the Paris hotel. Sit outside at night and watch the Bellagio fountains across the street.

Olives: In the Bellagio. Go Late, sit on the patio, watch the fountains and relax.

And dont try to do too much, because it will all change. Be flexible. Sit your ass down by the pool and have some margaritas, float in the lazy river at the monaco, relax, get sunberned, and enjoy yourself!

thanks... that's exactly the type of info I wanted. trying to find the best places to just relax and have a good time. Every hotel and their mother have a casino, food, pools, and entertainment... I'm just looking for the best of the best.

definitely plan on pool-hopping and margarita-drinking. I think we're just going to wander around all the hotels just to look around, crash a few pools, gamble a bit, and just plain take it easy.

anyone know if the pools are free entry? someone mentioned you can't get into many of the good pools unless you're staying at the hotel... any ideas?

i'll arrive the 13th around noonish or so, depart the 16th. defo would like to meet up with guys from ms if schedules permit... if anything we could all go out to lunch or something if our schedules don't match up.



what about lounges? are drinks free in a lot of the lounges? I'm on this cheapovegas.com site and a lot of lounges say "free," but I don't know if that means free entry or free drinks :?

all the pools here in town will let you in during the week in you grease the 16 year old lifeguard. on sunday you can go to the rehab pool party at the hard rock hotel. or nirvana at green valley ranch.

restaurants yes fix is good about 60 a person (without drinks) www.fixlasvegas.com other than that all good restaurants on the strip are usually pricey.

hotel lounges (with bands playing) never charge a cover... most ultra lounges do. every club or ultra lounge gives away free admission passes anyway.

the only way to get free drinks in vegas is to gamble... places vary in the amount of drinks they give gamblers.

that saturday is local dj night at ice. one word faarsheed!!

Last time I was there, Glaude was @ Ice and he played to the crowd. It wasn't that busy either. Pure @ Caesars was nuts - completely overcrowded.

You might want to hit up the foundation room at Mandalay on Monday night - the only night it's open to the public. Otherwise try the Mix lounge at, "THE Hotel", at Mandalay Bay. If you enter thru that hotel entrance and not the casino, you'll likely get free entry. The view is gorgeous.

There are a ton of great restaurants. I heard Nobu is excellent.

The roller coaster at the NY NY hotel is fun.

Many strip clubs don't let women in - check first before cabbing it to the place. I think the spearmint rhino has both men and women strippers from what I remember.

now this might sound a little gay but

go see the cirque de soleie (sp?) show "KA" at the MGM Grand. this show was unbelievable.

also make sure you go to old vegas on freemont street. play a little 2/4 at the nugget.

Was in Vegas in early July. The best time I had there was at Pure on Tuesday with Faarsheed spinning some of the best prog house i've ever heard.

yeah i just saw that .. michael fuller is alright.. he plays good music, but to me he is not a very motivated dj... he is up and down....faarsheed is prolly still playing though
