Don't let the ads fool you, this raunchfest earns its R rating incredibly well and still manages to sustain an oddly sweet and naive tone to it as well. Steve Carrell is the titular character who does have his reasons for still having his innocence (while owning a collection of comics and action figures might make it difficult to get laid, it isn't impossible - there are geek girls too), what makes this a scream is how his friends often seem more interested in Carrell's character getting laid, than he himself is.

Funny, funny film, well worth seeing right away before all the best gags are ruined for yoj.

This is definately meant to be a winner. I checked the reviews and they all rave about this movie. They even say is funny that American Pie...

Just saw this movie, and I have to say it is the best comedy i have seen in a while..I thought Wedding Crashers was the best comedy but this definately took it to a whole different level!! What are you doing sitting down, get up and go see it....

i saw it last night. pretty funny but i didn't think it was quite as funny as wedding crashers. pretty damn funny though.

Yeah. I agree completely. Second funniest movie after The Aristocrats for me in the past few months. Wedding Crashers was just not that good at all to me.

The previews look pretty good. I might actually go see this instead of waiting for the dvd. I can't believe it remained a top of the movie list this past week. Must be good then.

Saw this movie was kind of dumb had only a few places that were funny I guess, would really suggest anyone to watch it, unless you are seriously very very very bored.

i thought it was pretty damn funny... just watched the unrated dvd... maybe it has something to do with their work environment, because i used to work at a similar place, but it was a hilarious movie.

i thought there were funny parts. and i LOL'd a couple times too. specially in the beginning when he's trying to pee with morning wood. lmao how true is that scene fellas?

thought the movie dragged on a bit though. did it really need to be 2+ hours?
i think they could have conveyed the message in 90 minutes but thats me.

hmmm didn't think this one would be funny, but after reading your recommendations I'll sure check it out ... Saw Deuce Bigolow European Gigolow last week and that was't a topper so I wasn't into a comedy mood anymore...
