I don't agree with the violence in France or anywhere, but possibly the Muslims and/or the lower class French(not just Muslim) are mistreated. I really don't know, but I know the media would like to point this out as Muslim's rioting and being violent.

It may be true that the Muslims aren't adapting well in France, but I really don't have enough information. But, who's fault if true is it that the Muslim French aren't adapting well? And the rioting and violence by French Muslims definitely won't help them adapt to their new country, so possibly both sides are to blame.

muslims don't adapt anywhere in the world because they like to take over everywhere they go.. If you look at all the hot spots in the world (hot spots being war zones) almost all of them have to do with muslims trying to get a law ruled by the Koran.. please lets stop making excuses for the muslims.

Super how is it that both sides are to blame?? France lets these people in to give them a chance in the new world and they do this? I say send them all back to where they came from and let them fix there countries first before trying to get in ours. That is the only way I believe from stopping another religious triggered world war.

Furthermore, simply stating that 'Muslims' will never adapt is the biggest bullshit I've heard until now. That's generalizing to the max and then some: the same as in Christianity, there are certain small groups that do wish to agrssively expand and evangelise the religion. And no matter how hard people scream, it's still a small minority group. For the record: not even all fundamentalists are militant, in fact: only a small part, and those are usually found among the revivalists: they are the ones striving for a pure Islam and literally do as the book describes.

Fixing their countries huh? Why do you think they hate the West so much? Because WE tried to 'fix their countries' for them, which ultimately only worsened social conditions and ultimately led to that attack on the US embassy in Iran and the longlasting hostage situation.

And for the last time: the riots in France are about minority groups and socially disadvantaged groups, not Muslims goddamnit!

thats it exactly. if it was a religious thing i feel that more could be done to try to solve the problem. due to it being disadvantaged groups there is no clear solution. it is nothing that can be solved instantly. even if a solution presented itself , i doubt that it would work globaly.

I didn't mean to fix there country for them. They need to do it themselves. Why don't the Saudi Princes give there money away to help the extreme poverty that is there in those countries. Quality of lIfe is what it is all about. I hear you protest against everything I say but at least I give an opinion you hide behind saying education is the key. I agree but how do you get it to people that are being told by there mosques to bomb shit. They are brain washed not me. I don't know about the Saudi's but I know someone pays off the families of those guys who strap on the bombs and die in the name of allah. Saddam was one of the leaders paying the families of Palestians a sum as compensation for their noble death, death in a holy war is to honored in Islam.

Where next, luckily Australia stopped a biggy last week. Jordan just got hit, and their govt have been on the helping side of the Western countries.

What, are you comparing that to what's happening in France? Man....i cannot believe that. Even if some Muslim groups are trying to 'feed' the riots for their cause, they are in no way the most important factor, just a small group trying to bend it to their advantage. Show me the blogs you guys were talking about.

I know a lot of Americans resent Europeans for their 'weak' attitude: well...at least history has taught us to make more distinctions in the world than just 'We vs the Muslims'.

You guys seriously dissapoint me. Try and educate yourself a bit before just putting the blame on Muslims again.

I don't expect anyone to appreciate what I am about to say but do you guys realize the amount of ignorance and dare I say it racism in your posts?

This is far from being only muslims and if you guys had any clue you would know that unfortunately this whole car burning thing is not a new tradition here. I've been living in the Strasbourg/Mulhouse area for 10 months and around these parts they have a yearly contest around new years as to which city burns the most cars. Pityful I know.

Unto the muslims or the whole conflict you must realize it is in no way shape or form organized. Little teenage boys aren't being enrolled to make molotov cocktails and throw them in cars. And there's also been a number of leaders in the muslim community to have stood up to say no to the riots admitiddly it not being all that succesful in stopping the conflict.

Lastly while I'm not trying to justify in any way shape or form the rioting and the savage behavior of the people committing these crimes it is vital to first understand the root of a problem before going any further.

Discrimination, and not simply religion or skin colour based is a very prominent thing affecting all levels of society. Education as a whole is a flawed system were only few of the best can succeed. Welfare is a lifestyle that many depend on. Social progression, or the elevation of the status of living is non existent today; in the past it was the son who was going to be the first in his family to complete school or own a house, today he will be the first in his family to be endebted.

Also keep in mind that the media only shows a brief portion of what is going on. So many people seem to forget that and swallow every single word as the absolute and full facts.
