they are good, but you get the run around. eventually they fix and replace whatever is needed for free though. thier guarantees are good. but you will spend time running tests on your comp while on hold.

i should have said, they know what to do and will find the problem, but it is annoying to deal with.

yep. im only allowed to deal with this guy issac S. cuz i went bannanas on a techie who had me run the same fucking test over and over. so he hung up on me. i called back and they said they would have to wait for a supervisor to call me. a week later i filed a complaint with BBB of FLA b/c the techie was so rude. he basically was that SNL char. so i fucked em over. for dropping round 3K, i want my support polite and immediate.

yeah, I'm finding that a lot of the "custom" computers are aimed at people who are really looking to really trick their computers out and pay handsomely for it. I'm just looking for something I can use as a dedicated box that has what I need without paying extra for a bunch of stuff that I don't. I think I'm just going to get a budget system and upgrade it as appropriate...

i don't know what's it like wherever you live but over here i would go to a local computer shop. they offer pc's custom made. they have several set-ups and you can change them however you want. Or you can save some bucks by doing it yourself and going to several stores and searching the cheapest components.
