WoW! It is a bit hard to watch, the poor thing looked like he was in shock, i dont blame him. Having your fucking skin ripped off you while your hanging upside down would be horrible.
I'm kind of hoping that they skinned it alive for a dare or just to show that they could do it. Still hopelessly sick, but surely it's easier to kill it first. I do object to the killing of animals just to apease the ego of some fucker who wants to feel nice. I don't object to the use of animal skins in clothing where they are a by product of an animal that has also been used for food like sheepskin or shoe leather.

Don't know anything about horse glue, but at the same time I don't suppose horses are killed just to make glue. The French eat them and I wouldn't be surprised to find that it goes into animal food. I don't pretend to be an expert - my previous comments were based upon a self admitted lack of knowledge, but I don't think that I'm too far off the mark

You watch a video of an animal being skinned alive off an animal activist's website and believe this is how the fur industry works?!?
Seriously it's a very large hassle to skin a live animal as opposed to one that's had it's neck broken or being gassed!

Moreover, I dont think anyone's comments in here were pertaining to the industry as a whole, just in general towards the person who's using the lowest form of respect towards another living being.
I think your comments are both silly and superficial in that by silly I mean you're taking your preference of wearing fur and making a remark towards all those who are in fact trying to state that the process to satisfy your wish of wearing it needs to be improved.... even if THIS is a one off incident. Moreover, by superficial I meant you're just not trying to assess the "sentiments" behind each post.
I dont see anything wrong in eating chicken either, but you dont see me hanging live chickens off a fence and then going at them with a fork and knife while the poor thing watches you eat it.

They do some pretty sick things to poulty as well... clip their beeks off, etc. But then again, I'm not opposed to eating chicken, steak, lamb or veal.
