im such a proud dog grandma 
Well our girly had a baby last night. She only had one...the vet said thats common for a dog her age ( 1 yr 4 months, and the dad was only 9 months lol) He was a BIG puppy, the vet said since he was the only one he got so much nutrients lol. Hes gonna be a fatty at first since he can have all her milk.
He was born breech (legs first
) which made it painful for her. We had to actually pull him out, also she rejected him and would not break the sac open which we had to do within 3 mins or he would die...it was HARD! Then we had to cut the umbilical cord since she wouldnt do that either. It was a rough night.
She is just now starting to cuddle him, we have to put him to here nipples to eat. The vet this a,m said we might have to mother him a lot since she is so young and all her instincts didnt kick in.
We are keeping him! He needs a name now. He has the moms coloring on his head with the fathers white spot around his mouth, also has his dads white coloring with cocoa markings
He has a super squishy face but the vet said thats normal with newborns hehe.
