I can't believe the advise you guys gave. Its a fucking battery! No warranty is going to get voided by replacing it. I'm sure if he would have replaced it and it didn't work they would have exchanged it. In addition you have got their email instructing you to change it. All this over a 3 dollar battery?

With some expensive watches they will void you warrenty if you try to replace the battery. They ask that you send it to them or you take it to an authorized dealer or the warrenty is null and void. He bought it from a vendor not directly from the manufacturer. Believe me not every vendor knows the full warranty information on the products they sell. Best to check 1st with the manufacturer and not the vendor you bought it from.Comment
