I know it may be hard to program that (or not), but...is an average count not better than a minimum? That way those who are not posting like 10 times a day but a little less are still recognized as being active board members. Otherwise you might get people cramming the topics with posts just to get to their minimum, after which they might stop posting and start leeching again...

Just an idea.

I just think you don't get it or ever will. No matter where you go in life there will be rules set for you. Whether you go to work, someones home, arena or country. You are a guest and you WILL follow the rules.

It is a priviledge to be a part of this community. The people who run this joint have worked really hard in making it interesting and fun to be here. My newbie $.02 -- 50 post minimum seems fair enough to me. That's no problem. Even 100 post minimum would be fine with me. 5 posts per day seems a little much. Some of us have lives, and some of us don't work on a computer all day. However, an inactivity period of, say, 10 days, or less than 1-2 posts per day seems fair to warrant banning from downloads. I'm sure a 5 posts per day minimum would bring about tons of spam. Anyway, it's not up to me.
