Italy has a good team for sure, but I just HATE their cattanacio. God that technique sucks just as much as dropping yourself and reaching for your shin whenever a player of the other team comes closer than 2 mtrs to the ball (Italian too, hahaha).

I saw them in the semi finals of the Euro cup against France a few years ago. Sat there the entire match bored to pieces cuz the French couldn't get through the cattanacio. Just before I went into coma, I decided to head back for the car to be in advance of the trafic jams, there wasn't a single goal anyway. Just when I reaced my car I heard the entire stadion explode cuz Zidane had scored one. Man, talk about Murphy

i think they have tried to tackle that issue this time though jan, i think it'll be interesting to see what they do about this, this kind of tacktic is ruining the game as the players now are more worried about gaining an injury than actually playing the game, rightly so in many ways but you get teams/players who use this to there advantage and start play acting...like so many things of the past i think football was better in the early days as the show of skill was more evident in those days.

the players of today are more worried about there next appointment with there stylists

Completely agree with you: only a few players today are only focussed on the game while the rest act like goddamn movie stars. Nowadays everyone wants to be a Beckham
