"Drowned alive". He should try some magic and do it next time, "drowned dead". Oxymoron or just moron?

Re: david blaine - drowned alive

he only earned $250K for this "trick" - what a rip.

The two hour show was just way too long. It was beat out by other shows here in the US, even dumb sitcoms like King Of Queens, until the final 1/2 hr. when everyone tuned in to see if he would succeed.

Re: david blaine - drowned alive

I think the guy has a lot of talent. His dvds are really dope. Granted this may not be a magic trick per se but he's certainly showing how resilient the human body actually is and pushing it to new limits.

I don't get all the hate. If you don't like it. Don't talk about it.
Ignore it. Go watch paint dry/tv.

i agree. although he can be a bit annoying, it is interesting to see how far he can push his own body. i cannot imagine doing any of the stunts he has performed. i am not mentally strong enough. it's crazy how much mental endurance some of that shit takes. now if they could just wrap it up into a 1/2 hour show it'd be money.

side note: he must be just floating around in his own piss for a week, no?

Re: david blaine - drowned alive

Why don't people like him? Is it because he attempts things that people would never try in a million yrs?

I personally have never seen the guy, so I don't really understand....I have just noticed on a lot of forums people are bashing him

Let's just say DQ some of us enjoy bashing
for the mere need to enlighten others
to the obviousness which they tend to run from
And we won't get into that photo of you with Gary Busey
on your myspace site.

Bash On.

I was told he was hooked up to a cathedar. Nothing like pissing in a tube for a week. As far as taking a shit, guess he had to hold it

Re: david blaine - drowned alive

^^^^ What did he do when taking a crap. I mean, he was in there for a week

Re: david blaine - drowned alive

I don't understand all the hate. The guy pushes his body to his limits, then donates his time to science so doctors can research something that they've never had a chance to research... and you call him a douche?

you're all turds
