Most people will agree that the Pentagon incident happened as it was reported, its hard to refute the eyewitness accounts. However many other events surrounding 9/11 still remain a mystery. Issues like WTC 7. Even the governments version is only a theory. FEMA is on the record as saying: "the best hypothesis has only a low probability of occurrence. Further research, investigation, and analysis are needed to resolve this issue."

Might I remind you that there have been many conspiracy theories that later turned out to be true.

Theres more than just the one conspiracy theory. Some which say our government had a hand in 9/11. Others, (and more likely) that state they simply let it happen.

With all the lies the government has told us recently why would any bother to believe them?

Well when we were warned by many other governments about the impending attacks and our security forces fail miserably its enough to question things. Besides I'm not saying the government did it- they just didn't do anything to stop it, intentionally that is.

Again if you think its beyond our government, I refer you the the Northwood Document which suggests:

• Firebombing and sinking an American ship at the Guantanamo Bay American military base?reminiscent of the USS Maine incident at Havana in 1898, which started the Spanish-American War?or destroy American aircraft and blame it on Cuban forces. (The document's first suggestion regarding the sinking of a U.S. ship is to blow up a manned ship and hence would result in U.S. Navy members being killed, with a secondary suggestion of possibly using unmanned drones and fake funerals instead.)

• "We could develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington. The terror campaign could be pointed at Cuban refugees seeking haven in the United States. We could sink a boatload of Cubans enroute [sic] to Florida (real or simulated). We could foster attempts on lives of Cuban refugees in the United States even to the extent of wounding in instances to be widely publicized."

Basically a proposal to attack ourselves as a pretext for war, some scenerios including innocent people.

Loose Change is an eye opener. I can't say I find that all of it adds up, but what it does show is that NONE of this adds up. The official story is swiss cheese.
