If she's a con then perhaps you can explain how she has been misrepresenting herself. I don't she has ever claimed to be anything other than a pop singer who knows how to push peoples buttons. People don't give a rats ass if she writes her own music, and she's given exposure to talented producers who would have never been introduced to a mass audience without her. Fair play imo.

show me one pop star who doesn't use questionable practices on where there music comes from. however, it is my opinion that she writes more of the music then you may think, she seems to be a very controlling type person unlike a britanny spears who sits there and chews gum while everyone else is making her record. people who worship pop music, are not there for the music, they are their for the individual. it's the obsession those people have with the person and/or group. sad, but true.

Fair assesment. The way teenage fans are manipulated into feeling like they have a relationship with pop stars is interesting to say the least. It's much harder for a pop star to appeal to adults which is what Madonna has accomplished with her music and image for decades. How any thinking person can still believe that she's just a slutty attention whore is beyond me.
