Been quite a bit out of it since, but at least I did make it out for diggers and what an awesome night that was!

Now here's a fun birthday story to share. I head out to a Mexican place a few blocks from my place on my birthday to watch the Mexico-Angola match. I see an open seat near the bar and as I'm about to sit down I see a sign on the counter that says "Seat reserved for the birthday boy". I look at the bartender and a few people around him and go "That's so nice of you all, but how did you know?" (I've already had quite a few drinks ) They tell me it was the cook's birthday and he's just now walking back to the seat. So we start chatting it up and having a good laugh wishing each other happy birthday. Next thing I know, he's feeding me tequila shot after tequila shot and I haven't had a tequila shot (let alone many other shots) in around ten years...Bad things always happen after tequila. Well needless to say by the time the match was over, I'm pretty damn trashed (thankfully the other birthday boy wouldn't let me pay for any drinks), I head out to grab a bite, then head home where I proceed to pass out while getting into a drunken fight with my wife. Nice one...but on the bright side though for the first time ever I didn't have a tequila hangover the next day
Now between that and diggers, it was quite a happy birthday!
