I heard "Moody" on Frisky this morning and it reminded me of how sick JD's Bedrock release was. I just love that dirty house, and then how it was mixed into "Judy"
took it over the top. Those two discs have to be probably in my top 3 all time mix cds.
The Science Department tracks, "Reprecussion" & "Persuasion" was probably some of the most beautiful music of those days. The second disc was deep and dark, god I remember the first time I heard "Flutterby", I about creamed myself. Just thought Id share

I much preferred the Moody mix featured on John's Twilo E-mix (also on GU 10 Athens) not the mix that made it to the final bedrock release. Judy is a track and a half though.

I rarely listen to the Bedrock disc though, I think it's because I prefer the Twilo e-mix instead which is very much the basis for the Bedrock release (plus it had escape-cascade, medway-baseline track, and mark bell-revolution on it and the bedrock disc didnt!)

oh man, that version of Moody on Digweed's Bedrock CD is one of the best songs I have ever heard!!! It's a shame it is basically impossible to get a hold of (I looked for years!)..

I'd be interested in the new remix..

hah, i remember years ago there was an interview with digweed about this disc on guitar.com (dont' ask me why it was there). but they asked him about the positive anti drug message in Judy and he said "this is the first time i've thought about that"

I agree with you here Greg. Eventhough I purchased the Bedrock Disc. I just had to have it on my all time collections.

As far as the Twilo mix, it did have some rather preferred tunes on there than the actual release.

I managed to get a hold of Raff N Freddy, Moody, Cascade, Bell- Revelations, Medway track, and the Deep Dish; oh and that Diablo track too = all on Vinyl. Shame I dont use them. Collectors items imo. Still looking for the Judy on Vinyl. Saw it once on E-bay... too much.

I never really got into the Bedrock cd. For some reason i would listen to both cds all the way through, and then i would not feel the urge to listen to it until many months later.

But the EM, because of this thread, i had to put it again in my iPod and i was listening to it last night and wow! what a piece of music. One of my all time favorites. Perfect summer mix imo. Glad this thread made me find it buried in my hd!
