Everyone has a right to comment so let him say what he likes. You're not right in many ways, I may not be right and you can't really expect an american who's been fed sh*t propaganda all his life to make a valid and intelligent comment as to really what is happening in the middle east. That is unless he has studied the region, its politics, its history, its culture, its values - then we can start paying attention to his comments.

It's good we're debating this issue and without this board we wouldn't know how people from various countries feel.

And by the way, whether you're muslim, christian or jew - killing people is prohibited and respect for one another is the core value in each of the 3 main religions.

Those who go against those values are not following their religions and therefore cannot be called either muslim, christian or jew.

You have to question the governments that have come and gone and that will come who persistently find ways of starting wars.

pitbulls, dobermans and rottweilers have earned a reputation, not because of a few isolated incidents, but repetitive, systematic behaviour. yes there are nice, gentle ones in the groups, but in general, the reputation is earned. i have muslim friends, alba from jordan in particular, and she does not deny that islam in general has a terrible reputation that has grown, in particular, with examples of say, groups of people and generations of familes marching in the streets when a terror attack happens, a blow isreal occurs, etc. there are millions of muslims throughout the globe who are kind caring people. i know many, and if we met, im sure i would consider you one.

but as a whole, what isnt fact in what i wrote outside of my opinion on failing to find a valid reason for understanding why millions of people in the middle east cheer when something vile happens to a non muslim based group or country. there needs to be a voice within your specific ground. and frankly there isnt. when the IRA killed children, the irish spoke out, when the haditha massacre was uncoverd, the people of the US didnt like it, and our government is investigating and jailing those responible, as well as for the single asshat who raped a woman, and the US population strongly stands against what Pres, bush is doing in cuba with the detainees. i wil clearly say, i am not typing this to be inflammatory, incindiery, or hurtful scarface, but typing in an honest attempt to convey some facts that people leave out, and my opinion. i hope you respect that i am not just screwing around as usual. everything i said is reality, both current and past. in particular to you, and again, not being aggressive, but where are you from, and do you know the reason why your family left the region whenever they did? i have a client who left pakistan simply for the reason of he felt the area was inhumane. he is still a devote muslim, who does indeed have his own biases, but admits that sometimes, its a dark place to be.

on a topic like this, i would being doing you a disservice by lying and saying what people want to hear. im was honest, and harbor no ill will toward you or anyone for that matter. ask around, i prety friendly in reality.

and to sono, dont even attempt to judge my education or knowledge until you have met me. i have read extensivly on the subjects and the clash. and frankly i have been very well educated in my life, earning a pair of bachelors degree, both with minors and a masters degree in US taxation law. i choose to act like a child because my humor. its not fun trying to be serious all the time.

Its sad that I lean right and my opinion differs from yours? I am right leaning, is there something wrong with that? Doesn't seem to bother my friends, production partners and supporters who happen to be on the left. We just happen to disagree. I know with in the "music industry" I am a minority. I take pride in my djing and music.

The great thing about music is its ability to reach across borders and personal differences to communicate a shared human experience on the highest level. Sufi Izrat Kahn calls music the highest form of art. And I agree.

That said, I DO NOT expect you to tune into The Sound today at 3pm on www.protonradio.com for my show b/c you don't respect my political views.

Easy there Lance-I took the time to compliment you and say it was "a little bit sad" that someone whose chosen method of expression(electronic music) was the same as my own-did not view the world the same way-not a big deal. I could care less how you ultimately feel at this point but at the time I had just read a shitload of bad news about the world and had read a few of your posts that I thought had merit and then was "saddened" that it veered off into territory that I didn't personally agree with. And the reason you are a minority in this industry is because so many of the tracks we as DJs play are about people coming together and shit and just having fun or getting fucked up and dancing all night or (my personal fav) fucking and I just think some of the things you've said in this thread as a whole didn't necessarily reflect that. I've listened to your show several times or would not have been able to "respect" you as an artist otherwise. I just thought that your little ending about my "not tuning in" was a bit unnecessary.

I was able to actually see where he got the brand of logic he uses and though I personally differ a bit-have to give him some props

Well, in my books, this has to be one of the most interesting threads i've ever read and followed. Period! I really wish I could debate with you guys on this one, but my opinions would only be childish, in the sense that I don't know enough on the history, the facts and whatever else related to this subject other then what I watch, read, and hear on the western news (Canada). Which, if you ask me, is somewhat biased.

I believe everybody's entitled to their opinion. But everybody also has rights which should not be broken because of differences in opinions.

FYI. that's true to a degree. Catholicism allows you to defend yourself if your OWN life is at stake, but that is it.

Fact of the matter is both parties are equally as guility for killing each other. Spilling each other's blood is barbaric and primitive in notion. This action has exsisted in humanity since the dawn of time, and humans will always kill humans. I would hope that both parties can come to some agreement soon. From the recent headlines, this seems to be far from over, and is only in the early stages. .
