Back to the SUV topic, anyone know about the Jeep Commander?

i have owned three jeep grand cherokees...have mixed thoughts on them, but one thing i do know is i wouldn't buy another jeep unless it was a wrangler. I'm just not a big fan of Chrysler products or their quality, including the jeep commander. Some days i like the boxy look of it, other days i don't. Either way, can't see myself buying one over many others in its class.

A certified pre-owned loaded 05 / 06 Acura MDX (esp with the SH-AWD from the RL) with low miles would be an EXCELLENT addition to your garage esp if you live in areas with heavy snow. RIght around 36,000 for under 15K miles, its a brilliantly made vehicle with a pleasant drive.

cmon i dont mean to sound like a hippy but every second asshole in the US has 5+ liter truck sitting in there yard.. Of course its main reason would be 'off roading' ur escalade to the store to buy food .

Not a fan of the Commander, I think it is hideous

The MDX and Pilot are both very solid choices, I even saw some pics of someone off-roading in a Pilot, which I couldn't believe, but it seemed to be doing pretty well believe it or not. The main issue however is the Minivan soccar mom image they portray.
