Re: fvcking beatport
never happened to me so far but understand u, BureOne, takes a longgg time find ur style and the tracks u wanna buy, that if u sign on and there is nothing inside the cart, u r pissed.
I do the same, listen the tracks once, i leave the tracks in the cart for a few days then listen again and then buy.Comment

If you don't buy it the first time you listen to it, that's a pretty good indication that you won't be buying it or shouldn't be buying it later on down the line.

^ ^ That just means that people obviously don't understand themselves enough. If you hear something, you should have a pretty good idea of whether you're gonna like it or not. If you have no idea, then you really haven't matured enough in the musical sense.Comment

Re: fvcking beatport
When I´m at Beatport I buy a lot of stuff on instinct, sometimes after just 30 seconds of listening, I´m clicking the "Buy" button. Luckily or not, I think I´ve only ever got a couple of "not so great" tracks, and even those, there´s moments when I actually like to listen to them, though I don´t think I´d ever put them in one of my mixes. I guess I´ve gotten to a point where I know what I´m after reasonably well. For example, I tend to go by labels more than by artists.
But even though I´m a "fasty buyer", there´s been a couple of ocasions where I click the Checkout button and suddenly my cart is empty. When that happens, I just exit the browser and come back a bit later...I usually find all my tracks till there, or maybe just the last one I picked will be gone.Comment

I select my music carefully cuz i cannot spend lots of $$ in music that im not really sure im going to play.
or as an example, sometimes i wanna buy 20 tracks but i can pay 10 cuz im runing out of money at that time so, which tracks do i buy ? thats what the cart is of use. so I have a few days to decide which ones i get and which ones not.
no need to buy at first sight. at least u have enought $ to spend. (just my point of view)Comment

I guess, but the alternatives still don?t come close in terms of sheer variety.Originally posted by beanzncheez^ ^ That last scenario sucks ass. I wouldn't be a loyal follower of any site that was that shitty.
And call me a lazy fuck, but I love the fact that I don?t have to fill in all my details (especially credit card) everytime I go buy a few tracks. I?ve bought from Magnetic Grooves and DJdownload and that?s something that I really dislike when I buy there.Comment
