i really do not care about the US basketball team, so what these players make the most money compare to other teams ... that means jack as we see. I am not dissapointed at all, actually i glad to see other teams playing well enough. Playing basketball in your own country doesn't make one the best players to this even in the whole world.

^because putting a bunch of individuals together doesn't make a TEAM.

and you dont send a TEAM cause your the "USA" and you think that it doesnt matter who you send to the Olympics cause you will win gold no matter what.
fact is that everyone is playing the game properly and with a strategy and the USA is too cocky / stupid to do the same. looks good on them if they lose, but chances are they wont and it will just feed their ego more. cheers
