i made the turn and teed up at hole 10, a 530 yard par 5. I crushed my drive about 330 yards smack down the middle of the fairway. I elected to hit my 5 wood from there and landed that fucker within 3 feet of the cup. i tapped in for my very first eagle in 12 years of playing golf. HOORAY!

Re: golf: my first ever eagle...
nice job man, your buying the drinks!! I have yet to get an eagle, after years of playing. I've missed some holes-in-one by the slimmest of margins, but haven't gotten my eagle dick wet.Beats are my crack.Comment

May I ask how you almost got holes-in-one yet failed to get an eagle?Originally posted by KobeI have yet to get an eagle, after years of playing. I've missed some holes-in-one by the slimmest of margins, but haven't gotten my eagle dick wet.Comment

What? I thought an eagle was two under par and a birdie was a one under par.

Yep. I was fucking right.
Now I can give you partial credit due to that bottom part but surely you had to know what I was talking about. For that, you are an asshat.Originally posted by about.comDefinition: A score of two strokes below par on any individual hole. Eagles are most commonly made on par-5s, where an eagle is a score of 3. An eagle on a par-4 (a score of 2) would require holing out from the fairway. An hole-in-one on a par-3 is technically also an eagle, but is never referred to as such. Why would you call it an eagle when you can call it a hole-in-one?

Re: golf: my first ever eagle...
good job on the Eagle. I've hit a few Eagles mostly on par 5's, but the best eagle I hit was on a 346 yd par 4. It was on a hilly course where this hole was downhill from the tee. Hit the drive and it ended up 1 ft from the cup. It was my longest drive and only eagle on a par 4.
330yd drive is pretty good. What do you usually average on your drives? No Soup for YouOriginally posted by MiroslavIt's not like he grabbed his balls and sucked his dick. Re: golf: my first ever eagle...
I played after work today and on the 9th hole about 155yds in the rough, I hit a 8 iron that bounce on the front fringe of the green, rolled and hit the flag and bounced out of the hole. I still got birdie, but it would have been nice to get the eagle. Either way, I was -1 on the front nine, then the rum kicked in and hit +5 on the back. Damn, I was drunk on the back.

Re: golf: my first ever eagle...
... the joys of golf. i've had one hole in one and one eagle. the hole in one was a par 3, 148 yards downwind... hit a nice 3/4 punch 9 iron that spun sideways into the cup. the eagle was a short par 4 uphill to a blind green... hit a 6 iron dead smack into the cup (according to the drunken sots on the patio at the 19th green). i've missed so many putts for eagles on par 5's that i've lost count."only dead fish swim with the stream..."
