It certainly is sick and wrong. I guess it's not a surprise that China does this, seeing as it is a brutal and repressive dictatorship.

But the most inhumane thing I've read? Hardly.

Check the daily news, people... What about the untold scores of innocent people the Chinese government routinely tortures and kills every year? Where's the outrage about that? We've all become mostly desensitized to that kind of old news.

But on a more serious note-the idea of someone taking your dog as you were walking it and then clubbing it to death with that horrible dog-in-pain whimper would seriously drive me insane. Although I can't really say when I say this headline yesterday or whenever that I was that surprised.
