        they may be in defiance of the lebanese gov't on paper, but several of their higher ups have supported hez. in the past, and a majority of the lebanese people support them as well. that they are finally letting israel take them on is only due to the circumstances. before that, they simply didn't care they had a terrorist organization running the southern part of their country.

                (Another point about the original topic, not the Bulululoonylu debate...)

                This incident is a perfect example why we cannot alienate the entire Muslim community and must keep the extremeists seperate for the millions of peace loving memebers of Islam. The tip about the plot came from a Muslim man who was concerned about what he saw in the aftermath of the London Subway bombings. Without them on our side, we would have never been in position to stop this thing.

                This is in response to the "kill 'em all" talk one often hears, if try to take on all of Islam, we may well get exactly what we asked for, and as usual it will be more than we bargined for.

                        look, i don't care why terrorism happens. let's just think about killing the people who start it. you can feed us all this bullshit all day long about how america this and america that, whining on and on about how there's good muslims and bad muslims, and how america causes terrorism. i don't give a fuck. we can rationalize any position on the matter, saying how, oh, america has its hands in everything, oh oh oh...they're driven to terrorism, whatever. i don't care. while i don't think "just bomb them" is the answer, i know who our friends and enemies are.
