    what a load of crap....

    so digweed is payin at ice las vegas september first. i just found out that JOey Mazzola is opening for him.joey plays house . listen to all the crap digweed and his managers came up with.
    joey can only play music up to 125 bpm
    it can only be minimal tech
    and here is the kicker
    he must change the his name in all advertising to joseph mazzola because joey sounds to housey........

              Ok, you're a long time music listener and should know that opening DJs can fuck up a show by playing too hard. All of us experienced MS'ers and Diggers team knows that the opening DJ is not the attraction and should keep things low key for Digweed to tear it up.

              The name change thing is a little ridiculous and I agree, but who gives a shit? Most DJs would play under the name Bugs Bunny to say you opened for Digweed.

              And quite frankly who wants to hear fucking house before a Digweed show? Something along the lines Diggers will play makes much more sense.

              And what bullshit that Digweed is afraid of being shown up. Blasphemy!

                  tell ya what.... i'll come out there and open for him for nothing more than cost of airfare and lodging, and i'll keep it about 119-120bpm til the man with the golden perm steps in.

                                                      joey is my personal friend.. i asked him why he was opening for digs since he plays different styles.. i can see making sugestions on what to play, but the name change thing reminds me of the whole jim morrison - ed sullivan "you know we couldnt get much higher" thing.... i told joey not to play and let digweed bring his own opener.. but he is going to ... i personally rather not play than loose my identity, no mater who it is....
