iPOD wont charge fully !

it says charging, then says it charged.....then i turn it on and the batery icon is nearly empty !!

Actually mine does the same thing...but it's kind of like when I fill my car up with gas...it just takes a while for the battery to show full charge. I nearly shit my pants when I this happened the first time. Before I completely freaked out though I gave it a little while so I went and ran a couple of miles and about midway through it showed full charge. Hopefully this is the same for you.

Does it have a calibration function? My rio did, but it crashed while it was doing it so it always shows an empty battery.

yeah, it takes a few min to spin up. just had to get my girlfriend's ladypod replaced b/c the battery crapped out after four months though

ps - the Genius Bar in the apple stores are a f-ing nightmare
