It is strange but every zipped file for the Hernan radioshow from 2003 that i download from mediafire requires a password to extract it, maybe it's just the program that i'm using to extract?

Nope, files extract just fine using winrar or winzip.

I'm using winzip for this one, but i have winrar installed as well on my computer i'm going to try that. By the way has anyone heard when Hernan is coming out with his new compilation? I own the previous four and they are absolutely amazing in their own way, i just hope the next one is fantastisch as well. Big thanks for the mixes Tom.

Are you from Germany as well?

I used Winrar to pack the files but I did not create RAR-archives but regular ZIP archives instead because I didn't know if the in Windows XP built in Zip routines can handle and extract RAR files...try to extract the files with Winrar as you said, maybe this helps.

Vielen Dank, WinRar has worked for me, and i don't need a password to extract the files by using that. I used to live in Basel in Switzerland for 3 years, and I picked up german from there. I am actually originally from Moscow, Russia.

First shows I heard were from 2002. I have a few but I don't want to upload them because back in 2002 I had the fetish to cut tracks out I did not like so what I have are basically "best of's"...something I could kick myself in the nuts for nowadays. I am sure I cut some tracks out I would like today but oh well...maybe somebody has 2002 shows and can up them..I would be interested in as well.

Anyway, last upload is done and what I have is now online. I am opening a new thread and stick it for a while. Maybe somebody wants to jump in and continue from 2004 on.

I have from september 2004 to today only problem is i used to join them together until i stopped doing that in july 2006 anyway i don't mind uploading them but it could take awhile to split them all back into 2 parts. Could be another project I will keep you posted on this at a later time.

I use hjsplit here:

Simply add a file extension of 001 for part 1 - 002 for part 2 at the end of the set etc...

NOTE: the files must all be the same name except the file extension

ex: if you wanted to join these 3 parts.

Start hjsplit

Join

Input file ( This will be the 1st file in the series .001 )

It will know of the others and join them all. You should see 1 big file ( all 3 parts )

If you don't see the file extensions.

To See All File Extensions

1. On the Tools menu in My Computer or Windows Explorer, click Folder Options.
2. Click the View tab.
3. Clear the Hide extensions for known file types check box.

It's very easy once you do a few of them.
