amare has been going OFF lately and marion has been averaging a double double with some assists and steals...

bell's perimeter shooting coming up huge for now, but he is streaky, and the brazilian bullet leandro barbosa is finally playing at the level they want him to.

thesightless, you make me want to watch basketball again..the enthusiasm....i too picked suns for mainly charles barkley..i think one of the most underated players (could be wrong)...but lost intrest as well after that whole era

it aint hard to pay attention to basketball when u live on the east coast. all the games are played at 830 and 1030 PM, so i always end up catching em while dicking around on the computer and lying in bed. hell it beats the shit out of the crap the TV networks are playing outside of HBO sunday and NBC monday. outside of those 2 nights, and the occasional adult swim show, i only watch sports. they are real life drama, baseball in particular and basketball secondly, as both sports give you games every day, and you see the rise and fall of a player in a season.

living near niagara falls doesn't give much chance to catch basketball unless its the raptors (which blow donkey balls) or the ordering the sports channel...which i don't enough tv for that

umm, basketball is nationally covered by ESPN and TNT wednesday thruogh sunday. monday and tuesday are the only nights were you dont get national games.

nash had 20 assits. marion with a double double with 4 steals, 3 blocks, and an assist\

teamwise(which is the only way to talk about them), on 37 baskets made, they had 33 assists. amare dominated all game, and thematrix held lebron in check through 3 quarters, only getting 19, but scoring 14 in the 4th.

jones, bell, and THE BULLET LEANDRO BARBOSA, all had great games too. each in double scoring figures with assists, rebounds and steals.

boris diaw as well played a brilliant inside-out game, scoring at will in the paint and drawing ilgouskis out often to clear the lane for a driving nash/stoudamire combo play.

and finally they are getting the respect they deserve for thier defense.
defensively they are......
top 3, in point differential(2nd), opponents scoring per possession(1st), and 3rd in holding oppenents feild goal %

http://www.nba.com/ front page has all of nash's assists up as a video, watch it, and tell me he isnt the best player on the planet right now. he isnt quite the pure scorer that areans and kobe are, but he brings the rest, and its no wonder his teams, for the last 8 years, have lead the league in scoring, and people have career ywars playing with him.

Naturally, nobody's talking about them. Everyone's tired of hearing about Nash at this point, and since they don't have the best record in the league, there isn't any urgency to make a fuss about them. But if you care about basketball at all, if the sport has ever meant anything to you, if you remember the Magic-Bird Era fondly in any way, if you're remotely interested in watching a professional sports team peak ... then you need to follow the Suns. They're sniffing at true greatness. I'm not saying it will happen, just that it could. You never imagined that an NBA team could score 111 points a game, shoot 51 percent from the field, shoot 81 percent from the line, make 40 percent of its 3s, double as the best transition team since the Showtime Lakers and still manage to be half-decent defensively, right?

this is why i tune in every game i can. monday night was brilliant and his 4 point, 22 assist game last week just goes to show you how he can dominate a game while scoring 4 points. its simply scary. at 6 feet, he isnt much on defense, but he plays very actively on double team defense, never allowing himself to be taken one on one.
