So, you immediately assume that just because they?re amateur, they can?t be top class?
I dunno man, sometimes maybe people could download something from there instead of the 200th Sasha, Digweed or Hernan set, personally I do that once in a while, and I?ve heard great stuff...from Jib?s stuff, to poto?s sets, also BureOne, Miroslav, gokada, and some other people, all quality and often as good as anything from the "top class" pros.
As for the OP, dude, if you love doing it and are confident in your stuff, if you enjoy showing the music you love to other people, just keep doing it, persistance is the key here, if you work HARD at it, you?ll reap what you sow. I sometimes feel a bit like you when it comes to posting stuff here, I mean, I post my mixes in 2 or 3 places and I sometimes wonder why I regularly rack up 2 or 3 pages of positive feedback in other places, but I struggle to get even one comment here, but I guess this place has so much great stuff on offer, that I?ve come to accept that it?s something that comes with the territory, so now I don?t worry about it, I just post it and if someone says anything that?s great, if they don?t, that?s great too.
Just post the mixes in a couple of different places and be patient, don?t get in peoples faces. I started doing this a year ago, the same way as you, and now I?ve got a gig lined up for April!

funny, I feel that way about other message boards I shoulda given you more props on the two mixes you released towards the end of last year...I still have both on my hard drive and still enjoy listening to them.
